About Turf Wars
Turf Wars Racing is a traveling event based out of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. The racing event was originally just one event per year that started in 2017. Turf Wars has since grown to multiple events, traveling to fairgrounds across
the Midwest to put on a Friday night show. The event offers an exciting alternative to other events at the Fair like the demo derby, tractor pull, baja race and more. If you are on a fairboard and want to get into contact with us,

The Turf Wars Racing team is made up of these 4 friends that are doing their best to put on an incredible show, give people the chance to race, run a successful business, and have a ton of fun. Hunter Walz, Jake Sherbrooke, Jena Walz, and Luke Eggebraaten are the co-owners but they couldn’t do it alone. Turf Wars has been blessed with some of the hardest working, most loyal and skilled volunteers out there. The volunteers that help run the events truly make it so special. We couldn’t do it without everyone involved.

What you can expect
What I love about the kids class is that it gives kids a chance to race and maybe bring out their competitive side! It is also great exposure to the race world, especially if that is all new to them! We have seen racers as young as 4 years old come out and race at Turf Wars!
